Optoelectronic Fuzzy ARTMAP Processor
Optical Computing, 1995The realization of practical optical or optoelectronic computers has been hampered by the lack of algorithms suited to optoelectronic implementation. We have chosen an algorithm that is particularly compatible with optoelectronic processors and parallel access optical memory, mapped it onto an architecture which satisfies the constraints of the ...

Processor architecture model for fuzzy control
Proceedings of Tenth International Symposium on Intelligent Control, 2002The architecture of a fuzzy processor intended for high-speed control applications is described. Its main advantage is the inference speed that does not depend on the numer of used inputs and rules. This is accomplished by the usage of content addressable memory as a rule set storage.

Programmable fuzzy associative memory processor
Optics Communications, 1996An optical system based on the method of spatial area-coding and multiple image scheme is proposed for fuzzy associative memory processing. Fuzzy maximum operation is accomplished by a ferroelectric liquid crystal PROM instead of a computer-based approach. A relative subsethood is introduced here to be used as a criterion for the recall evaluation.

VLSI implementation of a real time fuzzy processor
Journal of Intelligent & Fuzzy Systems, 1998In this paper, the realization of a new fuzzy processor is described. Original approaches are used for the implementation of both the fuzzifier and defuzzifier.

Third generation fuzzy processors
IEEE Technical Applications Conference. Northcon/96. Conference Record, 2002The 68HC12 microcontroller is primarily regarded as a compatible upgrade to the half-billion 68HC11 microcontrollers currently in the field. The 68HC12 has about 300 general-purpose instructions, and is primarily intended for conventional (non-fuzzy) microcontroller applications. However, a few instructions were added to specifically improve the 68HC12'

Low power analog fuzzy logic processor
1999 Southwest Symposium on Mixed-Signal Design (Cat. No.99EX286), 2003The design and analysis of the consequent and defuzzifier units of a fuzzy logic processor is presented. The circuits have been simulated using BSIM3 parameters for a 0.8 /spl mu/m CMOS process and utilize the sub-threshold mode of operation of transistors for extremely low power consumption.

Fuzzy logic provides a means of working with qualitative data and rules. Like neural networks, fuzzy logic provides a mapping from a space of input variables to a space of output variables. Unlike neural networks, fuzzy logic provides a direct means of incorporating human expertise.

A Photorefractive Optical Fuzzy Logic Processor
Optical Computing, 1995Fuzzy logic 1 has potential application in fields such as pattern recognition and process control. Since Liu first introduced an optical fuzzy logic processor utilizing a lens-array-based multiple imaging system, 2 many other systems have also been proposed and demonstrated.

A fuzzy processor using Josephson junctions
IEEE Transactions on Magnetics, 1991A novel Josephson fuzzy processor using SQUID gates is proposed, and the simulation results are illustrated to show how a high-performance fuzzy processor can be realized by taking into consideration of advantages of Josephson devices. The features of the proposed processor are very simple construction, very high-speed operation, and ultra-low power ...

Performance evaluation of a fuzzy processor
2013 Fourth International Conference on Computing, Communications and Networking Technologies (ICCCNT), 2013One of the growing mortal disease in this world is diabetes. An estimated 285 million people worldwide are affected due to it. This disease affects the brain functionality which leads to epilepsy or brain disorder. So it is necessary to identify the precise classifier for dealing with epilepsy risk level.
