PROMETHEE II method based on variable precision fuzzy rough sets with fuzzy neighborhoods
Artificial Intelligence Review, 2020The model of covering-based fuzzy rough sets (CFRSs) can be regarded as a hybrid one by combining covering-based rough sets with fuzzy sets. In this paper, based on fuzzy neighborhoods, we propose two types of covering-based variable precision fuzzy rough sets (CVPFRSs) via fuzzy logical operators, i.e., type-I CVPFRSs and type-II CVPFRSs.

Effective analysis of water quality is crucial for the well-being of ecosystems and human populations, notably in rivers like Thirumanimutharu. This study advances current methodologies by integrating the picture fuzzy PROMETHEE II approach with the analytic hierarchy process (AHP), offering a robust solution to the challenges posed by data ambiguity ...

A critical process that involves a thorough examination of the physical, chemical, and biological properties of water to ascertain its suitability for different applications, such as drinking, farming, and industrial, is water quality assessment. Poor land use and pollutant discharge are two classic examples of how natural and anthropogenic factors ...
