Inequality relation between fuzzy numbers and its use in fuzzy optimization

Fuzzy Sets and Systems, 1985
The inequality relation between two fuzzy numbers is investigated. A certain type of such a relation motivated by practical interpretation is proposed, and its correspondence with the usual lattice-type relation generated by the extended maximum and minimum operators and its possible interpretation are discussed.

A comment on “The quadratic programming problem with fuzzy relation inequality constraints”

Computers and Industrial Engineering, 2016
Point out some deficiencies and errors found in the paper which are proposed by Molai.Analysis of the cause of the error.Define a new definition of FRI path of max-product fuzzy relation inequality.Propose some new results. This note provides counterexamples to illustrate that Definition 1 and Theorem 2 which are proposed by Molai (2012) are incorrect.

Variational inequalities for lattice-valued fuzzy relations with applications

Journal of Intelligent & Fuzzy Systems, 2020
In this article, we study the notion of the variational inequalities for lattice-valued fuzzy relations. In this context, a variational inequality problem has been proposed that generalizes many results in the literature. The conditions for the existence of solutions of the proposed problem have been discussed.

Qualified decision-making using the fuzzy relation inequalities

SMC'98 Conference Proceedings. 1998 IEEE International Conference on Systems, Man, and Cybernetics (Cat. No.98CH36218), 2002
This paper takes up the decision-making problem, in which the decision-maker imposes certain qualifications on alternatives. In most cases, the given qualifications are based on human's subjectivity and thus requirements are not sharply defined.

Deviation Analysis for the Max-Product Fuzzy Relation Inequalities

IEEE Transactions on Fuzzy Systems, 2021
Max-product fuzzy relation inequalities have been widely applied in foodstuff management, wireless communication base-station system and wireless Server-to-Client network system. Under such application background, any solution of the max-product fuzzy relation system represents a feasible scheme.

Fuzzy Relational Equations/Inequalities

2019
Fuzzy relational equations (FRE) were firstly proposed by Sanchez [1]. Fuzzy relational equations/inequalities (FRE/FRI) have played an important role in fuzzy set theory and fuzzy logic systems, and many researchers have discussed them based on different fuzzy relational compositions [2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9].
