Two‐Photon 3D Printing of Functional Microstructures Inside Living Cells

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
This study demonstrates 3D printing inside living cells by using two‐photon photo‐lithography. A bio‐compatible photoresist is injected into cells and selectively polymerized with a femtosecond laser, creating custom‐shaped intracellular structures with submicron resolution.

GENETIC TUNING FUZZY DEMPSTER-SHAFER DECISION RULES

open access: yesTASK Quarterly, 2002
The objective of this paper is to employ the Dempster-Shafer theory (DST) as a vehicle supporting the generation of fuzzy decision rules. The concept of fuzzy granulation realized via fuzzy clustering is aimed at the discretization of continuous ...

Self‐Powered Flexible Triboelectric‐Gated Ion‐Gel Transistor for Neuromorphic Tactile Sensing and Human Activity Recognition

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
A fully flexible ion‐gel‐gated graphene‐channel transistor driven by a triboelectric nanogenerator enables self‐powered tactile sensing and synaptic learning. Mimicking spike‐rate‐dependent plasticity, the device exhibits frequency‐selective potentiation and depression, supporting rate‐coded neuromorphic computation even under flex.

Estimation of Food Security Risk Level Using Z-Number-Based Fuzzy System

open access: yesJournal of Food Quality, 2018
Fuzzy logic systems based on If-Then rules are widely used for modelling of the systems characterizing imprecise and uncertain information. These systems are basically based on type-1 fuzzy sets and allow handling the uncertain and imprecise information ...

From Copper Nanoparticles to Alumina Encapsulated Porous Layers With Enhanced Mechanical Stability

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Interfaces, EarlyView.
This study analyzes the synthesis‐structure relation of individual Cu nanoparticles and highly porous nanoparticle‐based Cu films using different sputtering‐based nanoparticle sources. The inherent mechanical instability of the films is tackled with Al2O3 encapsulation through atomic layer deposition, enabling 4‐fold increase in critical force in ...

METHOD OF SOFTWARE VERIFICATION OF AIR OBJECTS CLASSIFICATION FUZZY LOGICAL SYSTEM

open access: yesСучасні інформаційні системи, 2018
Objects of different classes are detected in the process of monitoring airspace. The classification of an air object is the process of establishing its belonging to a preassigned class. Classes are automatically determined or set automated.

Optical Detection and Modeling of Lithium Deposition on Copper Current Collectors

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Interfaces, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Understanding lithium (Li) deposition on copper (Cu) substrates is essential for improving the performance and lifetime of zero–excess lithium metal batteries. In this study, Li deposition was investigated under realistic coin–cell conditions using complementary scanning electron microscopy and laser scanning microscopy. A semi–automatic image
