Fuzzy sets and (fuzzy) random sets in Econometrics and Statistics
Econometrics and Statistics, 2023The research in the present manuscript has been partially supported by the Spanish Government through MINECO-18-MTM2017-89632-P Grant. Their finantial support is greatfully acknowledged.

Intuitionistic fuzzy sets and -fuzzy sets
Fuzzy Sets and Systems, 2000This paper proves that the concepts of intuitionistic fuzzy sets and intuitionistic L-fuzzy sets and the concept of L-fuzzy sets are equivalent.

ROUGH FUZZY SETS AND FUZZY ROUGH SETS*
International Journal of General Systems, 1990The notion of a rough set introduced by Pawlak has often been compared to that of a fuzzy set, sometimes with a view to prove that one is more general, or, more useful than the other. In this paper we argue that both notions aim to different purposes.

A Fuzzy Set Corresponding to an Intuitionistic Fuzzy Set
International Journal of Uncertainty, Fuzziness and Knowledge-Based Systems, 1998We propose a new approach to find a fuzzy set which corresponds to a given intuitionistic fuzzy set (Atanassov, 1986) in a certain sense. This will help extend a huge array of fuzzy properties, models, etc. available to the case of intuitionistic fuzzy sets.

Fuzzy Judgments and Fuzzy Sets
International Journal of Strategic Decision Sciences, 2010Using fuzzy set theory has become attractive to many people. However, the many references cited here and in other works, little thought is given to why numbers should be made fuzzy before plunging into the necessary simulations to crank out numbers without giving reason or proof that it works to one’s advantage.

Non–fuzzy sets for intuitionistic fuzzy sets
Journal of Discrete Mathematical Sciences and Cryptography, 2018AbstractWe examine an important paper of Gerstenkorn and Manko that was published in Fuzzy Sets and Systems. Their paper is the pioneer for correlation coefficient similarity measure. We point out several questionable results and then provide our improvement that will useful to develop theoretical structure for similarity measures under intuitionistic ...

Fuzzy sets, advanced fuzzy sets and hybrids
2017 International Conference on Energy, Communication, Data Analytics and Soft Computing (ICECDS), 2017Fuzzy Sets were proposed several years ago with various extensions in later years. Each extension has advantages over the fuzzy sets. Rough sets are used to handle incomplete information. Interval-valued fuzzy sets deal with uncertainty and vagueness.

Fuzzy Soft Set and Soft Fuzzy Set
2008 Fourth International Conference on Natural Computation, 2008In this paper the concept of soft fuzzy set is given and an example is presented which testifies the existing significance of soft fuzzy set. Then some properties on soft fuzzy set are discussed. At last the relations of fuzzy soft sets and soft fuzzy sets are compared by instances.

Picture fuzzy sets and 3-fuzzy sets
2018 IEEE International Conference on Fuzzy Systems (FUZZ-IEEE), 2018Picture fuzzy sets can be seen as particular "neutrosophic sets", without forming a sublattice. On the other hand, they can be isomorphically related to 3-fuzzy sets, and then they form a bounded lattice. We discuss some possible algebraic looks on picture fuzzy sets and related aggregation functions, including several examples.
