Probability on fuzzy sets and ϵ-fuzzy sets
AbstractThis research investigates the development of probability calculi for fuzzy sets (abbreviated FS's). Two FS algebras are employed, each as a basis for a FS probability calculus. One employs minima for FS intersections and consequently maxima for unions.

Fuzzy sets and presheaves [PDF]
This paper presents a presheaf theoretic approach to the construction of fuzzy sets, which builds on Barr's description of fuzzy sets as sheaves of monomorphisms on a locale. Presheaves are used to give explicit descriptions of limit and colimit descriptions in fuzzy sets on an interval.

L-Fuzzy Sets and Isomorphic Lattices: Are All the “New” Results Really New? †
We review several generalizations of the concept of fuzzy sets with two- or three-dimensional lattices of truth values and study their relationship. It turns out that, in the two-dimensional case, several of the lattices of truth values considered here ...

A fuzzy set is a class of objects with a continuum of grades of membership. Such a set is characterized by a membership (characteristic) function which assigns to each object a grade of membership ranging between zero and one. The notions of inclusion, union, intersection, complement, relation, convexity, etc., are extended to such sets, and various ...

Fuzzy Translations of a Fuzzy Set in UP-Algebras [PDF]
In this paper, we apply the concept of fuzzy translations of a fuzzy set to UP-algebras.For any fuzzy set $\mu$ in a UP-algebra,the concepts of fuzzy $\alpha$-translations of $\mu$ of type \textrm{I} and of fuzzy $\beta$-translations of $\mu$ of type ...

On the Intuitionistic fuzzy topological (metric and normed) spaces
In this paper, we define precompact set in intuitionistic fuzzy metric spaces and prove that any subset of an intuitionistic fuzzy metric space is compact if and only if it is precompact and complete.

Rewriting the dendritic cell code in cancer—from subset identity to immunotherapeutic design
Dendritic cells (DCs) play central roles in cancer immunity but are often subverted by the tumor microenvironment. This review explores the diversity of DC subsets, their functional plasticity, and emerging therapeutic strategies to reprogram DCs for enhanced antitumor responses, including vaccines, in vivo targeting, and DC‐based immunotherapies ...

Epithelial–mesenchymal transition (EMT) and tumor‐infiltrating lymphocytes (TILs) are associated with early breast cancer response to neoadjuvant chemotherapy (NAC). This study evaluated EMT and TIL shifts, with immunofluorescence and RNA sequencing, at diagnosis and in residual tumors as potential biomarkers associated with treatment response.

Approximate Reasoning with Fuzzy Booleans [PDF]
This paper introduces, in analogy to the concept of fuzzy numbers, the concept of fuzzy booleans, and examines approximate reasoning with the compositional rule of inference using fuzzy booleans.
