Fuzzy Set-Theoretic Operators and Quantifiers

2000
This chapter summarizes main ways to extend classical set-theoretic operations (complementation, intersection, union, set-difference) and related concepts (inclusion, quantifiers) for fuzzy sets. Since these extensions are mainly pointwisely defined, we review basic results on the underlying unary or binary operations on the unit interval such as ...

Consolidation operator for Intuitionistic Fuzzy Set

NAFIPS 2009 - 2009 Annual Meeting of the North American Fuzzy Information Processing Society, 2009
Intuitionistic Fuzzy Set (IFS) is the first major attempt to capture both membership as well as the nonmembership in a comprehensive way. The currently available operators of IFS, at the very least, cannot be used for of knowledge consolidation. In this paper the consolidation operator for IFS has been introduced.

New operators for Fermatean fuzzy sets

2020
In this paper, we define some new operators[(A@B), (A$B), (A#B), (A∗ B), (A → B)] of Fermatean fuzzy sets. Then we discuss several properties of these operators. Further we prove necessity and possibility operators of Fermatean fuzzy sets and investigates the algebraic properties.
