Fuzzy subgroups: Some characterizations

open access: yesJournal of Mathematical Analysis and Applications, 1987
The author considers fuzzy groups on a finite group and examines an equivalence relation between them: possession of the same family of level subgroups. The paper gives some refinements of results and proofs of \textit{P. S. Das} [J. Math. Anal. Appl. 84, 264--269 (1981; Zbl 0476.20002)]. This paper was continued [cf. Part II, Inf. Sci.

Distinct Biotypes of Visual Perception in Major Depressive Disorder

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
In a discover dataset (272 acute MDD patients), this work identifies a novel depression biotype characterized by impaired visual motion perception, using machine learning clustering. An independent dataset confirms the robustness of this biotype through cross‐validation and demonstrates its generalizability.

When Biology Meets Medicine: A Perspective on Foundation Models

open access: yesAdvanced Intelligent Discovery, EarlyView.
Artificial intelligence, and foundation models in particular, are transforming life sciences and medicine. This perspective reviews biological and medical foundation models across scales, highlighting key challenges in data availability, model evaluation, and architectural design.

Profiling Co‐Occurrent Morphological Phenotypes and Their Degree of Expression Severity in Vacuolated Cells by Holo‐Tomographic Flow Cytometry and Fractal Analysis

open access: yesAdvanced Intelligent Systems, EarlyView.
HTFC gets 3D refractive index tomograms of flowing cells. Label‐free monocytes are engineered to express patterns of cytoplasmic vacuoles. From the tomogram, an efficient dimensionality reduction is operated. Interpretable features are extracted to classify the expression severity of phenotypes coexisting in each cell, visually represented by a seven ...

Fuzzy de Sitter Space

open access: yes, 2018
We discuss properties of fuzzy de Sitter space defined by means of algebra of the de Sitter group $\mathrm{SO}(1,4)$ in unitary irreducible representations.

Age and gender effects on echocardiographic and histopathological cardiac phenotypes in healthy adult mice

open access: yesAnimal Models and Experimental Medicine, EarlyView.
This study investigated the impact of age and sex on cardiac phenotypes in healthy adult C57BL/6J mice using echocardiography and histopathological analyses. Findings revealed that female mice demonstrated more pronounced global cardiac chamber dilation during aging.

Generalized Complex Fuzzy and Anti-Fuzzy H_v-Subgroups

open access: yesInternational Journal of Analysis and Applications, 2018
In this paper, we introduce the concept of generalized complex fuzzy subhypergroup ($H_{v}$-subgroup) as well as the generalized concept of complex anti-fuzzy subhypergroup ($H_{v}$-subgroup).

A Secure Secret Key Agreement Scheme among Multiple Twinning Superlattice PUF Holders

open access: yesSensors, 2023
Modern cryptography attributes the security of a cryptographic system to the security of the key. How to securely distribute the key has always been a bottleneck in key management.

Covariant fuzzy observables and coarse-graining

open access: yes, 2003
A fuzzy observable is regarded as a smearing of a sharp observable, and the structure of covariant fuzzy observables is studied. It is shown that the covariant coarse-grainings of sharp observables are exactly the covariant fuzzy observables. A necessary

FUZZY SUBGROUPS BASED ON FUZZY POINTS [PDF]

open access: yesCommunications of the Korean Mathematical Society, 2011
Using the "belongs to" relation and "quasi-coincident with" relation between a fuzzy point and a fuzzy subgroup, Bhakat and Das, in 1992 and 1996, initiated general types of fuzzy subgroups which are a generalization of Rosenfeld's fuzzy subgroups. In this paper, more general notions of "belongs to" and "quasi-coincident with" relation between a fuzzy ...
