A fuzzy approach to building thermal systems optimization. [PDF]

open access: yes, 1999
Optimization of building thermal systems is treated in the paper in the framework of fuzzy mathematical programming. This new approach allows to formulate more precisely the problem which compromises energy saving and thermal comfort satisfaction under ...

Enhancing Maturation of Human Neuromuscular Organoids via Electrical Stimulation

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A framework for on‐demand and non‐invasive exposure of human neuromuscular organoids (NMOs) to electrical stimuli is established to promote their maturation. The robustness and effectiveness of different stimulation regimes are evaluated via thorough characterization of organoid tissue structure and contraction capacity. Chronic electrical stimulation,

An On-Line Robust and Adaptive T-S Fuzzy-Neural Controller for More General Unknown Systems [PDF]

open access: yes, 2013
[[abstract]]This paper proposes a novel method of on-line modeling via the Takagi-Sugeno (T-S) fuzzy-neural model and robust adaptive control for a class of general unknown nonaffine nonlinear systems with external disturbances.

GHRHR Deficiency Enhances Retinal Ganglion Cell Survival and Visual Functions in Experimental Glaucoma by Inhibiting Ferroptosis

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Glaucoma, a major cause of blindness, involves retinal ganglion cell (RGC) degeneration. This study shows growth hormone‐releasing hormone receptor (GHRHR) deficiency preserves RGC survival and restores vision, unlike activation which only aids survival.

Simulation of cross‐pedestrian flow in intersection based on direction fuzzy visual field

open access: yesIET Intelligent Transport Systems
Pedestrian flow refers to the spatiotemporal distribution of people moving in a defined area. At crosswalks, pedestrian dynamics exhibit complex self‐organization patterns resulting from interactions between individuals.

Evolving Fuzzy Rule-based Classifiers from Data Streams [PDF]

open access: yes, 2008
A new approach to the online classification of streaming data is introduced in this paper. It is based on a self-developing (evolving) fuzzy-rule-based (FRB) classifier system of Takagi-Sugeno ( eTS) type.

Microglia‐Targeted Biomimetic Tetrahedral Framework Nucleic Acid Nanovesicles for Synergistic Treatment of Sepsis‐Associated Encephalopathy

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Sepsis‐associated encephalopathy (SAE) lacks effective therapies. We developed ME@FDsi, a biomimetic nanodrug using a tetrahedral framework nucleic acid to deliver disulfiram and siTNFα. It crosses the blood‐brain barrier, targets M1 microglia, inhibits pyroptosis and inflammation, and scavenges ROS.
