Bipolar fuzzy TOPSIS and bipolar fuzzy ELECTRE-I methods to diagnosis

Computational and Applied Mathematics, 2019
Medical diagnosis is the process of determining which disease or condition explains a person’s symptoms or signs. The complexity and uncertainty of diagnostic information make the diagnostic process difficult to accomplish. Many theories concerned with medical diagnosis such as fuzzy set theory, rough set theory and soft set theory are presented in the

An evaluation of quality goals by using fuzzy AHP and fuzzy TOPSIS methodology

Journal of Intelligent & Fuzzy Systems, 2013
There is no defined methodological approach that would rank the quality goals of a process in uncertain environments, which is one of the basic problems in process management. In this paper, the considered problem is stated as a multi-criteria decision problem.

Airline Safety Evaluation Based on Fuzzy TOPSIS

2007
Safety is a critical element to the business success of the passenger airline industry. It is because of the imprecision or vagueness inherent in the subjective assessment of the experts that we use fuzzy set theory to deal with safety evaluation problems. In this paper, A novel airline safety evaluation method based on fuzzy TOPSIS is proposed.

Multi-distance and Fuzzy Similarity Based Fuzzy TOPSIS

2015
This article introduces a new extension to fuzzy TOPSIS. In the extension we have used as a basis a fuzzy similarity based fuzzy TOPSIS that uses an additional component of multi-distance in forming a closeness coefficient. Ordered weighted averaging is also used in the aggregation process over fuzzy similarity values.

Combination of Fuzzy TOPSIS and Fuzzy Ranking for Multi Attribute Decision Making

2006
TOPSIS is a multiple criteria method to identify solutions from a finite set of alternatives based upon simultaneous minimization of distance from an ideal positive point and maximization of distance from a negative point. Owing to vague concepts frequently represented in decision data, the crisp value is inadequate to model real-life situations.

A New Concept of Fuzzy TOPSIS and Fuzzy Logic in a Multi-criteria Decision

2018
In reality, humans usually uncertainty or vague in expressing their preference or votes based on crisp number or scale. Much of the information on which decision are based is uncertain, the methods can be used to support the system’s decision is to use Fuzzy Multi-Criteria Decision Making (FMCDM).
