This study found that neither species nor functional diversity had a systematic influence on the effect of diversity on transpiration. Instead, only functional identity was found to exert a driving influence. Overall, much of the variability in transpiration's response to diversity remained unexplained.

Impersonating predators and prey to study trophic interactions through real‐life simulations
Abstract Predator–prey interactions are a fundamental aspect of ecology that has generated sustained research interests. Progress in the field stems from a diverse range of approaches, from highly controlled yet simplified mathematical and agent‐based models, to grounded but data‐limited field studies.

A multiscale growth atlas of Arabidopsis: linking cell dynamics to organ development
Summary Plant development depends on coordinated growth at cellular and organ scales, yet comparative analyses are hindered by inconsistent reporting of growth across studies. We conducted a meta‐analysis of Arabidopsis thaliana growth dynamics, integrating data from 176 studies to create the first multiscale atlas of plant growth.
