A Fixed Point Theorem of Reich in G-Metric Spaces [PDF]

open access: yesCubo, 2010
In this paper we prove some fixed point results for mapping satisfying sufficient contractive conditions on a complete G-metric space, also we showed that if the G-metric space is symmetric, then the existence and uniqueness of these fixed point results ...

Cyclic Contractions on G‐Metric Spaces [PDF]

open access: yesAbstract and Applied Analysis, 2012
Conditions for existence and uniqueness of fixed points of two types of cyclic contractions defined on G‐metric spaces are established and some illustrative examples are given. In addition, cyclic maps satisfying integral type contractive conditions are presented as applications.

New convergence definitions for double sequences in g-metric spaces

open access: yesJournal of Classical Analysis, 2023
Summary: In this paper, we define \(g\)-convergence and \(g\)-Cauchy of double sequences in \(g\) metric spaces. Also we prove that \(g\)-limit is unique and every \(g\)-convergent double sequence is a \(g\)-Cauchy sequence. Additionally \(g\)-statistical convergence of double sequences is introduced and the theorem giving the relationship between ...

UNIQUE FIXED POINT THEOREMS FOR CONTRACTIVE MAPS TYPE IN T 0 -QUASI-METRIC SPACES [PDF]

open access: yes, 2014
In [2], Agyingi proved that every generalized contractive mapping defined in a q-spherically complete T 0 -ultra-quasi-metric space has a unique fixed point.

Metrics on a G-metric Space

open access: yesJournal of Physics: Conference Series, 2019
Abstract Given a G-metric space, we offer a simple way to derived metrics from G-metric and realize that any G-metric space is a metric space. We also show that, in certain cases, the metric can be derived from G-metric in such a way that the convergence and completeness in the G-metric is equivalent to those in the derived metric.

Fractals in G-metric spaces

open access: yesApplied Mathematical Sciences, 2013
The theory of iterated function systems (IFS) on complete metric spaces appears in almost all fractal based algorithms used for the purpose of compression of the images and their representation as well. Through a simple mathematical model, IFS technique provides an important tool for description and manipulation of the complex fractal attractors.

Fuzzy Triple Controlled Metric Spaces and Related Fixed Point Results

open access: yesJournal of Function Spaces, 2021
In this study, we introduce fuzzy triple controlled metric space that generalizes certain fuzzy metric spaces, like fuzzy rectangular metric space, fuzzy rectangular b-metric space, fuzzy b-metric space, and extended fuzzy b-metric space.

Fixed Points Results in G-Metric Spaces

open access: yesIbn AL-Haitham Journal For Pure and Applied Sciences, 2019
In this paper, the concept of contraction mapping on a -metric space is extended with a consideration on local contraction.  As a result, two fixed point theorems were proved for contraction on a closed ball in a complete -metric space.
