Hydrogel‐Based Capacitive Sensor Model for Ammonium Monitoring in Aquaculture
Traditional techniques for monitoring aquaculture water quality, particularly ammonium levels, harm fish. This work presents a novel capacitive sensor with an ionic hydrogel transducer to monitor ammonium concentration in real time based on the ammonium‐induced hydrogel dissociation and osmotic pressure. Monitoring aquaculture water quality, especially

Simple G-modules in types Bn, Cn, and Dn
Let G be a simple algebraic group of type Bn, Cn, or Dn over an algebraically closed field of positive characteristic. In this thesis we determine characters of simple G-modules contained in a family of alcoves using the techniques of geometric representation theory.

ErB4 and NdB4 nanostructured powders are produced by mechanochemical synthesis. 5 h mechanical alloying and 4 M HCl acid leaching are used in the production. ErB4 and NdB4 powders exhibit maximum magnetization of 0.4726 emu g−1 accompanied with an antiferromagnetic‐to‐paramagnetic phase transition at about TN = 18 K and 0.132 emu g−1 with a maximum at ...

Incorporating nanosized silver into titanium for antimicrobial materials exploits the metastable miscibility gap between silver and titanium. Silver nanoparticles are synthesized via pulsed laser ablation in liquid. Silver addition refines the microstructure, increases hardness by 30%, and reduces Staphylococcus capitis microbial adhesion by 70%, with ...
