Native habitat affinities predict fish invasions with post‐invasion habitat shifts

open access: yesJournal of Animal Ecology, Volume 95, Issue 9, Page 1762-1777, September 2026.
Initial invasion success is gated by native pre‐adaptations, but post‐invasion establishment is characterized by habitat shifts. We demonstrate that forecasting risk based solely on native niches severely underestimates future ecological impacts, and we provide an empirically validated watchlist of future invaders.

In Vitro Sperm–Epididymosomes Interaction Immediately Before Fertilization Changes Sperm Fertility Potential

open access: yesAndrology, Volume 14, Issue 6, Page 1757-1770, September 2026.
ABSTRACT Background Sperm acquire fertility ability during epididymal maturation mainly in the epididymal caput and corpus, and once matured, are stored in the epididymal cauda. During storage, interactions with cauda epididymosomes (epEVs) may influence sperm fertility potential; however, the role of such interactions on sperm fertility remains ...

Closing the Loop on Clothing Waste: Nudging and Incentives for Take‐Back Programs

open access: yesInternational Journal of Consumer Studies, Volume 50, Issue 5, September 2026.
ABSTRACT The environmental impact of textile waste disposal is a global concern, yet empirical research on consumers' participation in clothing take‐back programs at the disposal stage remains limited. Drawing on the push–pull–mooring (PPM) framework, this study examines consumers' switching intention from conventional clothing disposal to ...
