Structure and Properties of Cellulose Strengthened Poly(Acrylic Acid) Hydrogels
A one‐pot method is employed to prepare cellulose‐reinforced poly(acrylic acid) (PAAc) hydrogels by dissolving allyl cellulose (AC) in acrylic acid solutions. Both covalent interactions and hydrogen bonding are formed between AC and PAAC, and a maximum fracture stress of 2.34 MPa is obtained for the hydrogels.
