Comparison of Direct Swim-Up, Mini-Percoll, and Sephadex G10 Separation Procedures [PDF]

open access: yesArchives of Andrology, 1994
A comparison was made of three sperm separation techniques--direct swim-up, mini-Percoll, and Sephadex G-10--on semen parameters, including count, % motility, forward progression, and hypoosmotic swelling (HOS) test scores. Overall, the best quality sperm (less debris, best % and quality motility, and best HOS scores) were noted with the direct swim-up

Serological and genomic characterization of porcine rotaviruses in Thailand: detection of a G10 porcine rotavirus [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Clinical Microbiology, 1996
A total of 557 fecal specimens collected from piglets with diarrhea in Thailand were examined for rotavirus RNA by polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis. Twenty-three, one, and two samples were positive for group A, group B, and group C rotaviruses, respectively. Two samples exhibited two segments found in picobirnavirus RNA.

Functional equivalence and class expansion in rats using olfactory stimuli

open access: yesJournal of the Experimental Analysis of Behavior, EarlyView.
Abstract Simple discrimination reversal procedures have been successful in demonstrating functional equivalence classes in animals. The current study tested whether class expansion could be demonstrated in rats following the formation of functional equivalence classes.
