Insight Paradox in Patients With Schizophrenia: A Concept Analysis

open access: yesInternational Journal of Mental Health Nursing, Volume 34, Issue 6, December 2025.
ABSTRACT Although the insight paradox in patients with schizophrenia has been widely discussed in the literature, there is currently no consensus on its definition. A clear conceptualization is essential to support research addressing this phenomenon.

The Impact of Child Disability on Parental Outcomes: Evidence From Sweden

open access: yesHealth Economics, Volume 34, Issue 11, Page 2004-2036, November 2025.
ABSTRACT Parents of children with disabilities may face higher labor‐market penalties given the extra care and support required. Using Swedish administrative data, we focus on first‐born children with Cerebral Palsy (CP) to estimate impacts on parental labor‐market outcomes.

Mexican Patients With Suspected 22q11.2 Deletion Syndrome: Clinical Characterization and Molecular Findings by Fluorescence In Situ Hybridization and Multiplex Ligation‐Dependent Probe Amplification

open access: yesMolecular Genetics &Genomic Medicine, Volume 13, Issue 11, November 2025.
Evaluation of 80 Mexican patients with suspected 22q11.2 deletion syndrome, including detailed phenotypic characterization. Multiplex ligation‐dependent probe amplification identified both typical and atypical deletions, underscoring the need for complementary approaches to fluorescence in situ hybridization.

The Burden of Motor Neuron Diseases in the United States, 1990–2021: A Systematic Analysis of the Global Burden of Disease Study 2021

open access: yesMuscle &Nerve, Volume 72, Issue 5, Page 1130-1142, November 2025.
This analysis of Global Burden of Disease data reveals a rising burden of motor neuron diseases in the United States from 1990 to 2021, with increasing prevalence and mortality. Geographic and sociodemographic disparities highlight the need for public health interventions and equitable resource distribution.

Optimizing Currency Factors

open access: yesFinancial Review, Volume 60, Issue 4, Page 1389-1414, November 2025.
ABSTRACT We introduce a novel framework that dynamically optimizes currency factor strategies via trading currency spot and forward. We examine the performance of 24,336 portfolio optimization approaches and find that the optimized currency factors significantly outperform the naïve factors after correcting for data snooping bias.

Predicting failure mechanisms of aerospace‐grade polymer matrix composites in open hole tension: Correlation of experimental, simulation, and analytical methods

open access: yesPolymer Composites, Volume 46, Issue 14, Page 12724-12738, 10 October 2025.
Determining the optimum hole diameter in open‐hole tension tests for different stacking sequences through establishing the parameter of difference between principal and tensile stresses. Abstract The open‐hole test approach is widely used in the aerospace industry to compute notched design allowable strengths representing the presence of fastener holes
