Identification and characterization of the n‐6 fatty acid‐producing Mucor rouxii native isolate CFR‐G15

, 2010
In zygomycetes fungi, many Mucor spp. have been known to produce g-linolenic acid (GLA) in their biomass. Among 250 soil samples screened, 20 Mucor isolates showed GLA in their mycelial mass under normal cultivation conditions.

Model Antenna Rotator and Tilt Correction Using BeagleBone and G15 Cube Servo

2019
For a Low Earth Orbit (LEO) Satellite, we can only observe a momentary Field of View (FOV), meaning, the satellite can only communicate with a minor slice of the earth at a time. This necessitates a network, (or ‘constellation’) of satellites, to provide full coverage. Further, satellites in the lower regions of LEO also have a very fast orbital decay,

The C•Si•O•Si (•C) Four-Member Ring and the Si-G15 Centre

1996
Based on geometry optimisation molecular cluster calculations employing the MINDO/3 method, we have concluded that the interstitial-carbon interstitial-oxygen complex in silicon has a C•Si•O•Si (•C) four-member ring structure as the most stable state. Our conclusion is similar to that of Jones and Oberg who carried out a LDF (local density functional ...

What do Financial Markets say about the Exchange Rate?

Social Science Research Network
Financial markets play two roles with implications for the exchange rate: they accommodate risk-sharing and act as a source of shocks. In prevailing theories, these roles are seen as mutually exclusive and individually face challenges in explaining ...

New Mechanism for the Apoptosis of Human Neuroblastoma Cells by the Interaction between Fluorene-9-Bisphenol and the G Protein-Coupled Estrogen Receptor 1.

Environmental Science and Technology
Fluorene-9-bisphenol (BHPF) is an emerging contaminant. Presently, there is no report on its interaction with G protein-coupled estrogen receptor 1 (GPER).

Pyrroloquinoline quinone production defines the ability of Devosia species to degrade deoxynivalenol.

Food & Function
Deoxynivalenol (DON) is a prevalent mycotoxin that primarily contaminates cereal crops and animal feed, posing a significant risk to human and animal health. In recent years, an increasing number of Devosia strains have been identified as DON degradation
