Reliability analysis of a M1x1/Mx2/G1, G21 Queueing system with a repairable service station

Microelectronics Reliability, 1997
A queueing situation often encountered in practice is that in which the service station may fail and can be repaired. This paper considers a priority queueing system with a repairable service station, where two types of customers arrive in batches according to two homogeneous independent Poisson processes, their service time distributions are general ...

A novel salt-tolerant endo-β-1,4-glucanase Cel5A in Vibrio sp. G21 isolated from mangrove soil

Applied Microbiology and Biotechnology, 2010
Although cellulases have been isolated from various microorganisms, no functional cellulase gene has been reported in the Vibrio genus until now. In this report, a novel endo-beta-1,4-glucanase gene, cel5A, 1,362 bp in length, was cloned from a newly isolated bacterium, Vibrio sp. G21.

Amplification of IMR-32 clones 8, G21, and N-myc in human neuroblastoma xenografts.

Cancer research, 1987
Amplification of clones 8, G21, and N-myc, which were derived from human neuroblastoma cell lines IMR-32 and NB-19, were studied in nine neuroblastoma xenografts. N-myc was amplified from 50- to 120-fold in eight of nine xenografts, clone 8 was amplified in five of the xenografts, and clone G21 was amplified in four of these five.
