Simple torsion test for shear moduli determination of orthotropic composites [PDF]

open access: yes
By means of torsion tests performed on test specimens of the same material having a minimum of two different cross sections (flat sheet of different widths), the effective in-plane (G13) and out-of-plane (G23) shear moduli were determined for two ...

Friedmann limits of rotating hypersurface-homogeneous dust models

open access: yes, 2001
The existence of Friedmann limits is systematically investigated for all the hypersurface-homogeneous rotating dust models, presented in previous papers by this author. Limiting transitions that involve a change of the Bianchi type are included.

Designer Solid Self‐Emulsifying Nanovaccines Enable Dual Modulation of Dendritic Cells and T Cells for Potent Antitumor Immunity

open access: yesAdvanced Science, Volume 13, Issue 5, 27 January 2026.
A solid self‐emulsifying (SSE) platform is loaded with peptide antigens and CpG to form the SSE vaccine. An ApoE‐enriched corona promotes dendritic cell internalization, enabling antigen presentation and T cell activation. Squalene from the SSE also sensitizes T cells by promoting lipid raft formation.

Evaluation of performance and stability in response to multiple environments in maize

open access: yesCrop Science, Volume 66, Issue 1, January/February 2026.
Abstract Frequently occurring extreme weather events and environmental changes may significantly reduce corn (Zea mays L.) yields. Thus, the selection of favorable traits and stable genotypes has emerged as a fundamental objective of breeding programs aimed at countering adverse weather effects. Field experiments in eight environments were conducted in

Principal-Agent Problem with Minimum Performance Insurance [PDF]

open access: yes
A minimum performance insurance in the Principal-Agent problem is wealth reducing to the principal. This result points to further inefficiencies in mandatory individual Pension Funds' contracts, particularly the one established in the 1993's 100th Law in

Two-Loop Renormalization Group Equations for Soft Supersymmetry-Breaking Couplings

open access: yes, 2008
We compute the two-loop renormalization group equations for all soft supersymmetry-breaking couplings in a general softly broken N=1 supersymmetric model.

They're Out There, You Know: Sea Turtle Sightings and Strandings in Canadian Pacific Waters

open access: yesEcology and Evolution, Volume 16, Issue 1, January 2026.
A comprehensive summary of all known sea turtle occurrences in Canadian Pacific (British Columbia, BC) waters from 1931 to 2024, including demographics, spatiotemporal distribution, and pathologic findings. The dataset contains sightings of 247 sea turtles from four species, including the first five records of olive ridley sea turtles (Lepidochelys ...
