Does It Pay to Be Green? A Total Quality Perspective

open access: yesBusiness Strategy and the Environment, Volume 34, Issue 7, Page 8590-8619, November 2025.
ABSTRACT The question of whether, when, and how efforts for better corporate environmental performance (CEP) improve corporate financial performance (CFP) remains controversial. We revisit this question from a total quality perspective, which unites previous research and highlights interdependencies between mediators of the CEP–CFP relationship.

Split Dirac Supersymmetry: An Ultraviolet Completion of Higgsino Dark Matter

open access: yes, 2014
Motivated by the observation that the Higgs quartic coupling runs to zero at an intermediate scale, we propose a new framework for models of split supersymmetry, in which gauginos acquire intermediate scale Dirac masses of $\sim 10^{8-11}$ GeV.

Lateglacial and Holocene mountain glacier fluctuations near Cape Farewell South Greenland inferred from 10Be moraine dating

open access: yesJournal of Quaternary Science, Volume 40, Issue 8, Page 1344-1363, November 2025.
ABSTRACT We report 43 new 10Be exposure ages and six 26Al/10Be measurements from replicates from a small piedmont mountain glacier located at Cape Farewell (south Greenland) and temperature anomalies estimated from equilibrium‐line altitude (ELA) changes derived from 3D glacier reconstruction carried out using the ‘GlaRe’ toolbox.

Emotion and reasoning in human decision-making

open access: yesEconomics: Journal Articles, 2019
Two systems in the brain that are involved in emotional and economic decision-making are described. The first is an evolutionarily old emotion-based system that operates on rewards defined by the genes such as food, warmth, social reputation, and having ...

Exact Bremsstrahlung and Effective Couplings

open access: yes, 2015
We calculate supersymmetric Wilson loops on the ellipsoid for a large class of $\mathcal{N}=2$ SCFT using the localization formula of Hama and Hosomichi.

Do Social Trust and Tolerance Affect Board Gender Diversity? An International Evidence

open access: yesCorporate Governance: An International Review, Volume 33, Issue 6, Page 1706-1744, November 2025.
ABSTRACT Research question/Issue The paper investigates how social trust and tolerance affect board gender diversity levels in 67 countries. Research Findings/Insights We find robust evidence that countries in which people display trust toward strangers, people of other countries, and other religions have more gender‐diverse boards.

The impact of revised definitions on the epidemiology of status epilepticus: A population‐based study

open access: yesEpilepsia, Volume 66, Issue 11, Page 4298-4307, November 2025.
Abstract Objective Status epilepticus (SE) represents one of the most common neurological emergencies. The International League Against Epilepsy (ILAE) redefined SE duration thresholds from 30 to 5 min for convulsive SE in 2015. We conducted a prospective population‐based study to determine SE incidence and outcomes under the revised criteria and ...

Viral Trends and Stock Markets: Spillover Between Meme Assets and Sectoral Returns

open access: yesFinancial Internet Quarterly
Meme assets are a unique and modern phenomenon in the stock market, characterized by social media-driven hype and significant price volatility. The aim of this paper is to explore the relationships between meme assets and sectoral dynamics. We employ the

Enhanced spin Hall effect by tuning antidot potential: Proposal for a spin filter

open access: yes, 2009
We propose an efficient spin filter including an antidot fabricated on semiconductor heterostructures with strong spin-orbit interaction. The antidot creates a tunable potential on two-dimensional electron gas in the heterostructures, which may be ...

Real‐world retention of newer ASMs, including lacosamide and brivaracetam as first or second therapies in adult‐onset epilepsy

open access: yesEpilepsia, Volume 66, Issue 11, Page 4235-4245, November 2025.
Abstract Objective Newer antiseizure medications (ASMs), such as lacosamide and brivaracetam, have promising retention in clinical trials but real‐world data on their effectiveness when used as first or second treatments is missing. Because newer ASMs are often reserved for severe cases, such knowledge accumulates slowly.
