Magnetic properties and rectifying behaviour of silicon doped with gadolinium

The magnetic/nonmagnetic p-n junction was prepared by implanting gadolinium into the n-type silicon with low-energy dual-ion-beam epitaxy technology. The magnetic layer GdxSi1-x shows excellent magnetic properties at room temperature.

Tunable Negative Thermal Expansion in Fe/Cr‐Substituted Nd2Co17 Compounds via Magnetoelastic Coupling

This study achieves anisotropic thermal expansion tuning in Nd2(Co1‐xFex)17‐yCry compounds via a magnetoelastic strategy. Variable‐temperature synchrotron X‐ray diffraction reveals that increased Fe content induces switchable lattice responses. Computer Simulation of Speciation of Trivalent Aluminum, Gadolinium and Yttrium Ions in Human Blood Plasma
