Tailoring Structure–Property Relationships in π‐Conjugated Heterocyclic Poly(arylene alkylene) Anion‐Exchange Membranes for High‐Performance Water Electrolysis

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
From passive to active ion transport: π‐conjugated heterocycles reconfigure the hydration environment and microphase morphology of p‐terphenyl‐based anion‐exchange membranes, enabling fast hydroxide transport and high‐performance water electrolysis. ABSTRACT Anion‐exchange membrane water electrolysis (AEMWE) is a promising technology for sustainable ...

An Injectable ROS‐Responsive Nanozyme Hydrogel Regulates the Uterine Microenvironment to Prevent Intrauterine Adhesions

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
The injectable CeTA@GPP hydrogel is administered via intrauterine injection, forming a protective barrier. In the high ROS inflammatory microenvironment of injured endometrium, boronate ester cleavage triggers responsive CeTA release and local enrichment.

Status of gadolinium enrichment technology at LLNL

open access: yes, 1993
A method based on,polarization selectivity and three step laser photoionization is presented for separation of the odd isotopes of gadolinium. Measurements of the spectroscopic parameters needed to quantify the excitation pathway are discussed.

Unlocking Long‐Lived Charge‐Separated State in Pentamethine Cyanine Based on Anionic Hofmeister Effect for Photodynamic Immunotherapy

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Based on the anionic Hofmeister effect, a universal strategy of incorporation of stereo‐π anion BPh4− into a series of Cy5 skeletons to unlock long‐lived charge‐separated states was reported, wherein the weak electronic coupling and low charge recombination driving force hinder the charge recombination process, elevating the oxygen‐independent ROS ...

Studies of magnetic critical phenomena in gadolinium

open access: yes, 1981
An automatic adiabatic calorimeter has been developed to measure the critical specific heat of gadolinium. A survey of different techniques for measuring heat capacities preceeds the description of the calorimeter and its automation using a PET ...

Pressure‐Tuned Superconducting Dome and Persistent Charge‐Density‐Wave Order in NdSeTe2

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
NdSeTe2 exhibits an unusual pressure‐tuned phase diagram in which charge‐density‐wave order does not disappear at optimal superconductivity. Instead, Raman spectroscopy reveals a transformation from long‐range to short‐range correlations that remain invisible to resistivity and persist across the entire superconducting dome.
