The equal collective gains value in cooperative games [PDF]
AbstractThe property of equal collective gains means that each player should obtain the same benefit from the cooperation of the other players in the game. We show that this property jointly with efficiency characterize a new solution, called the equal collective gains value (ECG-value). We introduce a new class of games, the average productivity games,

Equal-Gain Combining with Unequal Energy Constellations [PDF]
To compute the optimal bias in equal-gain combining (EGC) receivers with unequal energy constellations such as M-ary pulse amplitude modulation (M-PAM) and M-ary square quadrature amplitude modulation (M-QAM), the estimation of the instantaneous fading gain magnitude in each diversity branch is needed, thus defeating the usefulness of EGC.

A BROADBAND MICROWAVE GAIN EQUALIZER
In this paper, we propose a new kind of broadband microwave gain equalizer in microstrip circuit. The equalizer uses open stepped impedance resonators (SIRs) to increase the adjust parameter so that the equation curve can be more ∞exible. Simplifled topology of the gain equalizer is used to make the match net easier.

Wake-Up Receiver with Equal-Gain Antenna Diversity [PDF]
Small scale fading signals resulting from multipath propagation can cause signal strength variations in the range of several dB. Resulting from the fluctuating signal strengths, the wake-up packet reception rate can decrease significantly. Using antenna diversity can greatly mitigate these effects.

On the performance of selection cooperation with equal gain combining
In this study, the performances of selection cooperation are investigated in a scenario based on decode-and-forward and where equal gain combining (EGC) technique is adopted at the destination. Assuming that the channels suffer from independent non-identical Rayleigh fading, we first derive the cumulative distribution function, probability density ...

Purcell gain equalized zero-mode waveguide
We refresh the design of zero-mode waveguides (ZMWs) by introducing metamaterials that makes the zeroth order resonant mode existence. Of particular importance, the resulting electromagnetic field exhibits nearly constant distribution but not a trivial solution of Maxwell's equation, showing great advantage to equalize the excitation rate of molecules ...
