A Pan‐Cancer Microenvironment Atlas Constructed by DECEPTICONx

open access: yesiMetaMed, EarlyView.
DECEPTICONx builds the most comprehensive pan‐cancer TME atlas to date from > 11,000 TCGA samples using 535,665 single cells, revealing 102 immune/stromal subtypes with robust novel associations to patient outcomes, immunotherapy response, and intercellular coordination in the TME.

Galactic chemical abundance evolution in the solar neighborhood up to the Iron peak

open access: yes, 2000
We have developed a detailed standard chemical evolution model to study the evolution of all the chemical elements up to the iron peak in the solar vicinity.

Abundance gradients in the galactic disk

open access: yes, 2011
The relationship between abundances and orbital parameters for 235 F- and G-type intermediate- and low- mass stars in the Galaxy is analyzed. We found that there are abundance gradients in the thin disk in both radial and vertical directions (-0.116 dex/kpc and -0.309 dex/kpc respectively). The gradients appear to be flatter as the Galaxy evolves.

A Label‐Free Hyperspectral Imaging Device for Ex Vivo Characterization and Grading of Meningioma Tissues

open access: yesJournal of Biophotonics, EarlyView.
HyperProbe1.1 enables rapid, label‐free biochemical mapping of freshly resected meningiomas. By quantifying endogenous biomarkers such as cytochrome c oxidase, hemoglobin derivatives, and lipids, the system reveals molecular signatures consistent with tumor grading and generates spatial maps that visualize metabolic and vascular heterogeneity across ...

Quantitative Mapping of Fibrotic Tissue Mechanics via Brillouin Spectroscopy

open access: yesJournal of Biophotonics, EarlyView.
Brillouin spectroscopy distinguishes fibrotic from healthy tissue based on localized stiffness changes and enables real‐time monitoring of dynamic alterations in viscoelastic properties during fibrogenesis. ABSTRACT Fibrosis is a pathological scarring process that disrupts tissue architecture, and is characterized by excessive extracellular matrix (ECM)

Chemical evolution of the Galactic bulge: different stellar populations and possible gradients

open access: yes, 2012
We compute the chemical evolution of the Galactic bulge to explain the existence of two main stellar populations recently observed. After comparing model results and observational data we suggest that the old more metal poor stellar population formed ...
