Impact of dark matter galactic halo models on wormhole geometry within f(Q,T) gravity
This study investigates the possible existence of wormhole solutions with dark matter galactic halo profiles in the background of f(Q,T) gravity. The primary focus of the current study is to find the significance of dark matter (DM) in the search for ...

Two views of globular cluster stars in the Galactic halo
In [1] we reported the discovery in the Sloan Digital Sky Survey-II/SEGUE spectroscopic database of a small subset of halo red giants, 2.5%, with CN and CH band strengths indicative of globular-cluster-like carbon and nitrogen abundances.

Circum-Galactic Medium in the Halo of Quasars
The properties of circum-galactic gas in the halo of quasar host galaxies are investigated analyzing Mg II 2800 and C IV 1540 absorption-line systems along the line of sight close to quasars.

Two dimensional (2D) atomically thin materials hold significant promise for next‐generation photodetectors but are limited by low light absorption and scalability challenges. This study presents a high‐performance photodetector integrating liquid metal‐derived 2D SnO2 with CdTe, enabling efficient visible to near‐infrared detection and offering a ...

Tracing the Galactic Origins of Selected Four G-type Stars in the Solar Neighborhood
We present a multimethod investigation of four metal-poor G-type main-sequence stars to resolve their Galactic origins. By combining high-resolution spectroscopy from PolarBase, photometric/astrometric data from Gaia DR3, and spectral energy distribution

Solar and Galactic Magnetic Halo Structure: Force-Free Dynamos?
Magnetic fields may relax dissipatively to the minimum energy force-free condition whenever they are not constantly created or distorted. We review the axially symmetric solutions for force-free magnetic fields, especially for the non-linear field. A new

The Galactic Halo and CDM [PDF]
This paper reviews the available information on the central density distribution and shape of the Milky Way's halo. At present, there is no strong evidence that the Milky Way's halo properties conflict with the predictions of cold dark matter (CDM): a primordial central power law cusp can be accommodated by the observations, and the current constraints

Topology Optimization Enables Freeform Matrix Fourier Optics
A topology‐optimized freeform metasurface is designed and fabricated to realize matrix Fourier optics, enabling the diffraction of multiple polarization states into distinct far‐field orders. By combining forward design with gradient‐based inverse optimization, high polarization contrast of up to 98.7% is achieved.
