The H.E.S.S. Galactic plane survey [PDF]
We present the results of the most comprehensive survey of the Galactic plane in very high-energy (VHE) γ-rays, including a public release of Galactic sky maps, a catalog of VHE sources, and the discovery of 16 new sources of VHE γ-rays.

The VLA Galactic Plane Survey [PDF]
The VLA Galactic Plane Survey (VGPS) is a survey of HI and 21-cm continuum emission in the Galactic plane between longitude 18 degrees 67 degr. with latitude coverage from |b| < 1.3 degr. to |b| < 2.3 degr.

The long Galactic bar as seen by UKIDSS Galactic Plane Survey [PDF]
Over the last decade there have been a series of results supporting the hypothesis of the existence of a long thin bar in the Milky Way with a half-length of 4.5 kpc and a position angle of around 45 deg.

Radio Pulses along the Galactic Plane [PDF]
We have surveyed 68 deg^2 along the Galactic Plane for single, dispersed radio pulses. Each of 3027 independent pointings was observed for 68 s using the Arecibo telescope at 430 MHz. Spectra were collected at intervals of 0.5 ms and examined for pulses with duration 0.5 to 8 ms.

The UKIDSS Galactic Plane Survey [PDF]
The UKIDSS Galactic Plane Survey (GPS) is one of the five near infrared Public Legacy Surveys that are being undertaken by the UKIDSS consortium, using the Wide Field Camera on the United Kingdom Infrared Telescope. It is surveying 1868 sq.deg.

Revisiting Galactic Disk and Spiral Arms Using Open Clusters
We use the largest catalog of open clusters in the post-Gaia era to provide an observational view of the Galactic disk. By compiling physical parameters such as age, distance, and kinematic information, we investigate the spatial distribution of open ...

The H.E.S.S. galactic plane survey [PDF]
The H.E.S.S. (High Energy Stereoscopic System) Galactic plane survey (HGPS) was performed with the H.E.S.S. I Cherenkov telescope array in Namibia from 2004 to 2013. In total ∼ 2700 hours of high-quality observations of the Galactic plane are available in the Galactic longitude range of 250° to 65° and Galactic latitude range of −3.5° 0.1 TeV) gamma ...
