Proceedings of the Geologists Association, 2020
Abstract A new species of galatheoid from the upper Albian (Gault Clay Formation) of Folkestone, Kent (England) described herein, represents the first squat lobster on record from the highly fossiliferous Gault strata in the Anglo-Paris Basin. Two new deep-water species of squat lobsters (Crustacea: Anomura: Galatheoidea) from the Central and Southwest Indian Ridge

Zootaxa, 2023
The high diversity and endemism of benthic species on seamounts are extensively documented. Although the number of squat lobster species from seamount habitats has increased, species from the Central Indian Ridge (CIR) and Southwest Indian Ridge (SWIR) systems remain largely unknown.

The Galatheidae (Anomura: Galatheoidea) of South Africa, with a description of a new species

Zootaxa
Squat lobsters of the family Galatheidae are severely understudied in South Africa and have never been the subject of a regional monographic study. The last additions and updates to the fauna were made almost 20 years ago and a revision of this family is thus long overdue.

Grazing on a toxic Alexandrium catenella bloom by the lobster krill Munida gregaria (Decapoda: Galatheoidea: Munididae)

Harmful Algae, 2014
Specimens of Munida gregaria were collected within and in the vicinity of a bloom of the toxic dinoflagellate Alexandrium catenella in Queen Charlotte Sound, New Zealand. The crustacean contained paralytic shellfish toxin (PST) with an analogue profile dominated by N-sulfocarbamoyl analogues (C1,2 and GTX5) and carbamate gonyautoxins (GTX1,4), similar ...
