Abstract In 2022, attempts to overcome the division of the island remained dormant. Domestically, in the Greek Cypriot‐dominated Republic of Cyprus, the year was marked by the electoral campaign for the presidential elections scheduled for February 2023.

ABSTRACT The study examines bioclastic carbonate contourites that arise from the broad spectrum of bottom‐current related sedimentary processes ranging from deposition to erosion. The result of the intermittent accumulation of sediment are thin and condensed successions with abundant hiatuses.

Abstract Density instabilities in the lithosphere can founder gravitationally via viscous dripping and decoupling from overlying crust. The lithospheric dripping concept has been invoked across the globe, but the diversity of crustal effects, observable evidence, and tectonic settings involved in dripping remain underexplored.
