Se realizan recuentos de galaxias en las proximidades del Polo Sur Galáctico. Se obtienen distribuciones bidimensionales en dos colores de galaxias brillantes y débiles. Se observa una disminución sistemática en el recuento de las galaxias débiles en torno a aquellas de gran tamaño angular.
