Single‐Cell Hi‐C Technologies and Computational Data Analysis
This review provides a detailed examination of scHi‐C technologies, offering quantitative evaluations of 13 protocols. It addresses computational challenges arising from data sparsity and presents systematic insights into data analysis methods, including clustering, TAD calling and 3D reconstruction.

Missing dark matter in dwarf galaxies [PDF]
We use cosmological hydrodynamical simulations of the APOSTLE project to examine the fraction of baryons in CDM haloes that collect into galaxies. This ‘galaxy formation efficiency’ correlates strongly and with little scatter with halo mass, dropping ...

Dark Energy From the Gravitational Wave Background With Scalar Field Dark Matter
ABSTRACT Recent observational results, such as those from pulsar timing arrays (PTA), suggest a low‐frequency Gravitational Wave Background (GWB) permeates our universe. This opens the possibility that gravitational waves could span a broader spectrum, potentially impacting cosmological scales.

MID-INFRARED COLORS OF DWARF GALAXIES: YOUNG STARBURSTS MIMICKING ACTIVE GALACTIC NUCLEI [PDF]
Searching for active galactic nuclei (AGNs) in dwarf galaxies is important for our understanding of the seed black holes that formed in the early universe. Here, we test infrared selection methods for AGN activity at low galaxy masses.

Abstract Goatgrasses with U‐ and M‐genomes are important sources of new alleles for wheat breeding to maintain yield and quality under extreme conditions. However, the introgression of beneficial traits from wild Aegilops species into wheat has been limited by poor knowledge of their genomes and scarcity of molecular tools.

Quantitative Assessment of GOES 8–15 > ${ >} $0.6 and > ${ >} $4 MeV Radiation Belt Electron Fluxes
Abstract On Geostationary Operational Environmental Satellites (GOES) 8–15 (1996–2020), the Energetic Particle Sensor (EPS) included three integral electron channels, with nominal lower energies of 0.6 MeV (E1), 2 MeV (E2) and 4 MeV (E3). The > ${ >} $2 MeV channel has received more attention than the other two channels, because it is used by the NOAA ...

Pricing dynamics and herding behaviour of NFTs
Abstract This paper analyzes the sales of 875,389 art nonfungible tokens (NFTs) on the Ethereum blockchain to identify the key determinants influencing NFT pricing and market dynamics. We find that market liquidity and trade volume are strong predictors of NFT prices. Contrarily, social media activity negatively correlates with prices.

Angular Momentum in Dwarf Galaxies
Abstract We study the “angular momentum catastrophe” in the framework of interaction among baryons and dark matter through dynamical friction. By means of Del Popolo (2009) model we simulate 14 galaxies similar to those investigated by van den Bosch, Burkert and Swaters (2001), and calculate the distribution of their spin parameters and ...
