Debye‐Scale Bipolar Structures and Their Role in the Electron Trajectory Instability at the Bow Shock

Jet precession in active galaxies

The formation and evolution of massive binary black holes in galactic nuclei are studied with respect to the loss-cone filling model for the fueling of massive black holes in AGN during the final stage of galaxy mergers. A relation between the precession period of the jet and the fueling rate of the central hole has been obtained.

The Jets in Radio Galaxies

This thesis describes two studies of extragalactic radio sources at high resolution and sensitivity. Most of the well-known facts about radio sources come from low-resolution imaging, despite the fact that much of the interesting physics (that of the jets and hotspots) occurs on scales that are small compared to the overall source size.

Abstract The Nowcast of Aerospace Ionizing RAdiation System (NAIRAS) model predicts the radiation environment from the Earth's surface to free‐space.
