Integrated Kinetic and Transcriptomic Insights Into Nano‐Assisted Tandemol Biodegradation by UV‐Mutagenized Pseudomonas synaxantha rhizo‐25

open access: yesJournal of Basic Microbiology, Volume 66, Issue 7, July 2026.
ABSTRACT This study assesses the kinetics of Tandemol lubricant degradation by Pseudomonas synaxantha rhizo‐25 after UV treatment and nanoparticle inclusion. The degradation efficiency was assessed in terms of the Total Petroleum Hydrocarbons (TPH) and aromatic compounds degraded in a liquid medium containing Tandemol lubricant.

Germanium‐Based Mid‐Infrared Integrated Photonics

open access: yesLaser &Photonics Reviews, Volume 20, Issue 14, 22 July 2026.
The mid‐infrared (mid‐IR) spectral range is a part of the electromagnetic spectrum in which most of the molecules have vibrational and rotational resonances. Photonics integration in this wavelength range have thus seen a burst of interest in the recent years, mainly driven by applications related with the detection of chemical and biological ...

Circular Differential Scattering Spectroscopy for the Characterization of Single Chiral Nanostructures: Fundamentals, Development, and Perspectives

open access: yesNational Materials, Volume 1, Issue 1, Page 48-71, July 2026.
Circular differential scattering (CDS) spectroscopy relies on a modified dark‐field optical microscope to study single chiral nanostructures, avoiding the averaging effects of ensemble methods. Recently achieving improved detection limits of 1.5%, this robust technique analyzes plasmonic chirality and molecular interactions, with the future goal of ...

A Dialogue on Revolutions and Revolutionaries in Science: A Perspective From Quantum Mechanics

open access: yesNatural Sciences, Volume 6, Issue 3, July 2026.
ABSTRACT We discuss the notions of scientific revolutions and revolutionaries in the context of the Relativity Revolution and of the First, Second, and Third Quantum Revolutions. We conclude that at the core of the question of what qualifies as a revolution and revolutionary is an assessment of the gradients of knowledge accumulation over time, both at

Mechanically Durable Intrinsically Stretchable Neuromorphic Devices via Molecular Microstructure Design

open access: yesSmall, Volume 22, Issue 41, 22 July 2026.
This study reports intrinsically stretchable neuromorphic devices that exhibit outstanding mechanical stability while fully preserving their electrical characteristics over 105 repeated deformation cycles under 50% tensile strain. Such robustness is achieved through a rational molecular design strategy that systematically modulates the chain packing of
