International Journal of Cancer, EarlyView.What's New? Our research highlights how tumor sialylation affects tumor growth and reshapes the immune tumor microenvironment in colorectal cancer. We demonstrate for the first time that complete removal of sialic acids from colorectal tumor cells elicits a robust anti‐tumor immune response, but does not enhance anti‐PD‐L1 blockade efficacy.

Journal of Experimental Zoology Part A: Ecological and Integrative Physiology, EarlyView.ABSTRACT The tapetum lucidum, a biological reflector system found in the eyes of many vertebrate species, enhances visual sensitivity in low light conditions by reflecting light back through the retina. The structure of the ungulate tapetum fibrosum is unique, and its reflectance varies temporally in reindeer (Rangifer tarandus).

Physics Letters B, 2009 It is suggested that the recently observed size evolution of very massive compact galaxies in the early universe can be explained, if dark matter is in Bose Einstein condensate. In this model the size of the dark matter halos and galaxies depends on the correlation length of dark matter and, hence, on the the expansion of the universe.
