Volume measurement of microparticles using SEM photogrammetry and 3‐D reconstruction
Abstract In this paper, we introduce a method for volume measurement of microparticles that includes scanning electron microscope photogrammetry with 3‐D model construction. Our results show that our method limits the volume uncertainty to ±10%, which is a significant improvement compared to previous methods (which likely overestimated volume by 100 ...

Temporal Loss of Genome‐Wide and Immunogenetic Diversity in a Near‐Extinct Parrot
ABSTRACT Loss of genetic diversity threatens a species' adaptive potential and long‐term resilience. Predicted to be extinct by 2038, the orange‐bellied parrot (Neophema chrysogaster) is a critically endangered migratory bird threatened by numerous viral, bacterial and fungal diseases.

The Roc system represents a highly interconnected but incomplete network of two‐component regulatory systems involved in the virulence of Pseudomonas aeruginosa. Our work has enabled us to identify the missing RocA3 regulator, to propose new players in the system and to delineate their conservation between clades of the species.
