Comparative Analysis of Colletotrichum Isolates From Apple Tree Reveals Differences in Response to Temperature, Organ Preference and Cultivar Affinity

Colletotrichum siamense, C. grossum, C. chrysophilum and C. fioriniae, associated with apple bitter rot and Glomerella leaf spot, exhibited distinct thermotolerance patterns both in vitro and in planta, along with differences in spore germination and the colonization of apple fruits and leaves.
