Quenched Galaxies in Clusters of Galaxies and Their Outskirts [PDF]
Based on the SDSS data, the properties of galaxies with quenched star formation (QGs) within the "splashback"-radius of galaxy clusters $R_{\rm sp}$ and beyond it have been studied.

Targeted decrease of portal hepatic pressure gradient improves ascites control after TIPS
The river diagram demonstrates that after transjugular intrahepatic portosystemic shunt insertion (TIPS) the majority of patients without ascites and 50% of the patients with ascites detectable at ultrasound, show the best response in the long term follow‐up.

Galaxy–galaxy and galaxy–cluster lensing with the SDSS and FIRST surveys [PDF]
We perform a galaxy-galaxy lensing study by correlating the shapes of $\sim$2.7 $\times$ 10$^5$ galaxies selected from the VLA FIRST radio survey with the positions of $\sim$38.5 million SDSS galaxies, $\sim$132000 BCGs and $\sim$78000 SDSS galaxies that are also detected in the VLA FIRST survey.

Janus kinase 2 inhibition by pacritinib as potential therapeutic target for liver fibrosis
Diagram of the activation of the profibrotic and procontractile Janus kinase 2 (JAK2)/Ras homolog family member A/Rho‐kinase pathway and the inhibition of phosphorylated JAK2 by pacritinib to inhibit hepatic stellate cell activity. Abstract Background and Aims Janus kinase 2 (JAK2) signaling is increased in human and experimental liver fibrosis with ...

Incidentally Detected Testicular Metastasis in a Case of Prostatic Adenocarcinoma [PDF]
Adenocarcinoma of the prostate is one of the common cancers among elderly men worldwide. However, testicular metastasis detected incidentally after orchiectomy is a rare presentation as most commonly we encounter patients presenting with bone metastasis

Biermann battery as a source of astrophysical magnetic fields
A large number of galaxies have large-scale magnetic fields which are usually measured by the Faraday rotation of radio waves. Their origin is usually connected with the dynamo mechanism which is based on differential rotation of the interstellar medium ...

Galaxy Halo Masses from Galaxy‐Galaxy Lensing
We present measurements of the extended dark halo profiles of bright early type galaxies at redshifts 0.1 to 0.9 obtained via galaxy-galaxy lensing analysis of images taken at the CFHT using the UH8K CCD mosaic camera. Six half degree fields were observed for a total of 2 hours each in I and V, resulting in catalogs containing ~20 000 galaxies per ...

KiDS+VIKING+GAMA: Testing semi-analytic models of galaxy evolution with galaxy–galaxy–galaxy lensing [PDF]
Context. Several semi-analytic models (SAMs) try to explain how galaxies form, evolve, and interact inside the dark matter large-scale structure. These SAMs can be tested by comparing their predictions for galaxy–galaxy–galaxy lensing (G3L), which is weak gravitational lensing around galaxy pairs, with observations. Aims.
