Terrestrial Analogs to Titan for Geophysical Research
Abstract Saturn's moon Titan exhibits remarkable parallels to the Earth in many geophysical and geological processes not found elsewhere in the solar system at the present day. These include a nitrogen atmosphere with a condensible gas—methane—replacing the Earth's water, leading to an active meteorology with rainfall and surface manifestations ...

Discovery of a Low-mass Strong-lens System in SMACS J0723.3−7327
We report the discovery of an intriguing, low-mass galaxy-scale strong-lens system in the SMACS J0723.3−7327 galaxy cluster. By modeling James Webb Space Telescope imaging and Very Large Telescope Multi-Unit Spectroscopic Explorer spectroscopic data, we ...

ABSTRACT Background Immersive virtual reality (VR) technology offers a non‐invasive, non‐pharmacological approach to reduce pain perception in patients undergoing diagnostic or interventional procedures. Objective To systematically evaluate the efficacy of immersive VR technology in reducing pain perception during obstetric and gynaecological ...

Recent studies have highlighted the potential of intracluster light (ICL) as a dark matter tracer. Moreover, ICL coevolves with the brightest cluster galaxy (BCG) and the host cluster, making it a valuable tool for understanding cluster dynamics. In this

The Shape of the Chameleon Fifth-Force on the Mass Components of Galaxy Clusters
In the context of chameleon gravity, we present a semi-analytical solution of the chameleon field profile in an accurately modelled galaxy cluster’s mass components, namely the stellar mass of the Brightest Cluster Galaxy (BCG), the baryonic mass in ...

ABSTRACT Stocking fish is a common practice in fisheries management, particularly for species of high conservation value or economic importance. Despite its widespread use, systematic evaluation of fish stockings remains scarce. This includes non‐native species such as rainbow trout (Oncorhynchus mykiss), which are intensively stocked into European ...

Simulating Galaxies and Galaxy Clusters
The X-ray luminosities of the hot halo gas around simulated, Milky Way like disk galaxies have been determined, as a function of redshift. The X-ray luminosity increases significantly with redshift, in some cases as much as a factor 30 going from z=0 to 2. Consequently, the optimal detection redshift can be >~0.5.

The spatial extent of the environment's impact on galaxies marks a transitional region between cluster and field galaxies. We present a data-driven method to identify this region in galaxy clusters with masses $M_{200\rm ,mean}>10^{13} M_{\odot}$ at $z =
