Simulating Galaxies and Galaxy Clusters
The X-ray luminosities of the hot halo gas around simulated, Milky Way like disk galaxies have been determined, as a function of redshift. The X-ray luminosity increases significantly with redshift, in some cases as much as a factor 30 going from z=0 to 2. Consequently, the optimal detection redshift can be >~0.5.

How does the arrangement of helium atoms that are adsorbed on tetracene or pentacene ions change with increasing coverage? When does the adsorption layer change from 1D to 2D, and to 3D? Is the transition abrupt? Are the helium atoms localized? Is the arrangement the same for cations and anions? What changes as the acene grows in length?

Efficacy of Probiotic Lactobacillus spp. Isolated From Healthy Korean Indigenous Calves
We investigated the probiotic efficacy of a Lactobacillus mixture from calves. This mixture contributes to beneficial bacteria proliferation and harmful bacteria suppression in the gut microbiota, as well as inhibition of pathogenic infections and improved immunity.

Characterisation of a Novel Jumbo Lytic Aeromonas dhakensis Bacteriophage P19 and Its Endolysin
A jumbo, lytic myovirus phage P19 against multidrug‐resistant (MDR) Aeromonas dhakensis was isolated from river water. P19 demonstrated robust lytic activity, high thermal and pH stability (pH 6–10, up to 60°C), and no genes associated with lysogeny, virulence or antimicrobial resistance. ORF_358 of P19 encodes for T4‐type lysozyme.
