Constructing a Galaxy Cluster Catalog in IllustrisTNG-300 using the Mulguisin Algorithm [PDF]
We present a new simulated galaxy cluster catalog based on the IllustrisTNG simulation. We use the Mulguisin (MGS) algorithm to identify galaxy overdensities. Our cluster identification differs from the previous FoF cluster identification in two aspects; 1) we identify cluster halos based on the galaxy subhalos instead of unobservable dark matter ...

The feeding patterns of invasive populations of C. zillii in different habitats and seasons within a large‐scale geographic area (spanning 9.86° latitude and 10.47° longitude) in China were directly compared. ABSTRACT The redbelly tilapia (Coptodon zillii) is one of the most dangerous invasive alien fishes in the world.

This study explores the phylogeny and mitochondrial genomics of Ovulidae, a family of marine gastropods related to Cypraeidae, by analyzing mitochondrial genomes from 14 of 15 species collected off China's coast. Key findings include the reclassification of genera Naviculavolva and Contrasimnia to the subfamily Prionovolvinae, evidence against the ...

Mitochondrial Genomes of Three Melampus Species (Ellobiidae; Gastropoda)
The mitochondrial genomes of three gastropod species from the family Ellobiidae—Melampus bidentatus, Melampus jaumei, and Melampus gundlachi—were assembled and annotated and found to have a gene order that diverges from the conserved gene order that is recovered in most genera within Ellobiidae and—more generally—within Euthyneura.
