Form flows function: Learner‐centered game Re‐design in a STEM classroom
Abstract Re‐designing games facilitates interest‐driven learning and immerses learners in systems thinking. However, there are limited studies exploring how the form and function of tabletop games influence learners' design decisions and learning experiences. To address this gap, we conducted a mixed‐methods study in a STEM classroom in western Canada.

We use the DR9 of the DESI legacy imaging survey and SDSS galaxy groups to measure the conditional luminosity function (CLF) for groups with halo mass M _h ≥ 10 ^12 M _⊙ and redshift 0.01 ≤ z ≤ 0.08, down to a limiting r -band magnitude of M _r = −10 to −

Shell-like structures in our cosmic neighbourhood
Signatures of the processes in the early Universe are imprinted in the cosmic web. Some of them may define shell-like structures characterised by typical scales.

Cosmology with Clusters of Galaxies [PDF]
I show that three independent methods utilizing clusters of galaxies - cluster dynamics and mass-to-light ratio, baryon fraction in clusters, and cluster evolution - all indicate the same robust result: the mass-density of the universe is low, Omega ~ 0.2, and the mass approximately traces light on large scales.

We present joint South Pole Telescope and XMM-Newton observations of eight massive galaxy clusters (0.8–2 × 10 ^15 M _⊙ ) spanning a redshift range of 0.16–0.35. Employing a novel Sunyaev–Zel’dovich + X-ray fitting technique, we effectively constrain the

Active galactic nuclei (AGNs) are widely believed to be one of the promising acceleration sites of ultrahigh-energy cosmic rays (CRs). Essentially, AGNs are powered by the gravitational energy of matter falling into supermassive black holes. However, the

Basal‐like breast cancer (BLBC) is aggressive and often exhibits inherent or acquired resistance to radiotherapy (RT), a primary treatment option. RT resistance is underpinned by molecular alterations, many of which are poorly understood. Here, RT‐induced transcriptomic changes were analyzed using bulk and spatial sequencing in a BLBC mouse model and ...
