We present a comprehensive study of the galaxy size–stellar mass relation (SMR) at low redshift ( z ≤ 0.125), using a large spectroscopic sample from the Sloan Digital Sky Survey Data Release 13 (SDSS DR13).

A Massive Quiescent Galaxy in a Group Environment at z = 4.53
We report on the spectroscopic confirmation of a massive quiescent galaxy at z _spec = 4.53 in the COSMOS field. The object was first identified as a galaxy with suppressed star formation at z _phot ∼ 4.65 from the COSMOS2020 catalog.

The Environment Of Galaxies And Groups Of Galaxies [PDF]
In this thesis, we employ two numerical tools - semi-\ud analytical models and N-body plus hydrodynamical simulations of large scale structure and individual galaxies - to explore the underlying physics governing the formation and evolution of groups of galaxies, and the role of environment in generating polar structures around disk galaxies.\ud \ud ...

All the massive galaxy overdensities during reionisation
The high-redshift progenitors of present-day galaxy clusters are believed to substantially contribute to the global star formation rate density and drive the large-scale reionisation of the Universe.

The invariance of group occupation across the cosmic web
Context. Recent efforts to identify secondary variations in the halo occupation distribution (HOD) have primarily focused on simulations that examine the role of large-scale cosmic environments, such as superclusters, filaments, and under-dense regions ...

MAGAZ3NE: Evidence for Galactic Conformity in z ≳ 3 Protoclusters
We examine the quiescent fractions of massive galaxies in six z ≳ 3 spectroscopically confirmed protoclusters in the COSMOS field, one of which is newly confirmed and presented here. We report the spectroscopic confirmation of MAGAZ3NE J100143+023021 at $

Impact of galaxy cluster environment on the stellar mass function of galaxies
Galaxy clusters represent some of the most extreme environments in the Universe. They are ideal locations to study the impact of an extreme environment on the evolution of the Stellar Mass Function (SMF), which describes the statistical distribution of galaxies as a function of their stellar masses.

Environmental Effects and Size–Mass Relations of Red Disk Galaxies at 0.1 < z < 0.5
Red disk galaxies (RDGs), as a minority population in the process of galaxy evolution, have attracted considerable attention, due to the decoupling between color and morphological evolution.
