Cortinarius swatensis sp. nov. was collected from the District Swat, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Province, Pakistan. This new species is characterized by its brown to purplish grey fibrillose pileus which does not change color on bruising, a robust, fibrillose stipe with inconspicuous cortina remnants and relatively small (4.5–5.2 × 3.4–4.3 µm), sub‐globose to ...

N‐terminal betaine conjugation modifies β‐peptide helices, influencing folding and self‐organization. For [1S, 2S]‐ACPC, folding to an H12 helix was unaffected, while [1R, 2R]‐ACHC formed an H14 helix instead of H10. Alternating heterochiral oligomers made of enantiomeric pairs of trans‐ACPC showed enhanced solubility and E‐strand formation.

High‐Contrast Colorless‐to‐Colored Thermochromic Materials
We developed new three‐component thermochromic systems showing reversible colorless‐to‐colored transition. Our general empirical rule applies to diverse fatty acid phase change materials and leuco dyes, enabling easily tunable transition temperature and activated colors (blue, cyan, green, pink, grey). Solid particles of these materials were integrated

Oxychlorine Species on Mars: A Review
Abstract Oxychlorine species (mainly perchlorate and chlorate) have been identified at multiple locations on the surface of Mars by both orbiter and in situ rovers. They have also been found in martian meteorites. Cl‐isotopes in meteoritic minerals suggest that an oxychlorine cycle has been operating on the martian surface for the last ∼4 billion years.

Radiation Transport Through the Martian Atmosphere as a Function of the Zenith Angle
Abstract The topographic influence of the radiation environment on the Martian surface radiation is crucial for future human exploration. Topographic maps help assess radiation flux variations, aiding in hazard evaluation. Creating a global radiation map requires accounting for seasonally varying atmospheric density, heliospheric modulation, and ...
