LGBTQ+ Affirmative Care Training in Counselor Education: A Community‐Based Inquiry
ABSTRACT Counselor educators, counselors‐in‐training, and LGBTQ+ community members engaged in a community‐based qualitative inquiry exploring LGBTQ+ affirmative care education. Findings revealed counselor educators’ components and delivery of content, developmental implications for applying LGBTQ+ affirmative care, and gaps between education and LGBTQ+

RESOLVING THE GALAXIES WITHIN A GIANT Lyα NEBULA: WITNESSING THE FORMATION OF A GALAXY GROUP? [PDF]
Detailed analysis of the substructure of Lyα nebulae can put important constraints on the physical mechanisms at work and the properties of galaxies forming within them.

In bulk carbonic acid (e.g., in interstellar icy dust grains) cluster formation produces two distinct UV‐Vis spectral features redshifted by ≈2 eV (25 nm) and by ≈5 eV (80 nm) compared to gas phase single molecule carbonic acid 's adiabatic ionization energy. Theory and experiment were used to investigate the origin of these shifts.

The Karl G. Jansky Very Large Array Local Group L-Band Survey (LGLBS)
We present the Local Group L -Band Survey, a Karl G. Jansky Very Large Array (VLA) survey producing the highest-quality 21 cm and 1–2 GHz radio continuum images to date, for the six VLA-accessible, star-forming, Local Group galaxies. Leveraging the VLA’s

MAGNIFICATION BY GALAXY GROUP DARK MATTER HALOS [PDF]
We report on the detection of gravitational lensing magnification by a population of galaxy groups, at a significance level of 4.9σ. Using X-ray-selected groups in the COSMOS 1.64 deg2 field, and high-redshift Lyman break galaxies as sources, we measure ...

Organic electrode materials are considered the next generation of battery electrode materials due to their environmental friendliness, low toxicity and competitive specific capacities. Herein, we report on a systematic study of processing of the redox polymer poly(3‐vinyl‐N‐methylphenoxazine) (PVMPO) using water processable binders, achieving ...

SHOCKS AND CAVITIES FROM MULTIPLE OUTBURSTS IN THE GALAXY GROUP NGC 5813: A WINDOW TO ACTIVE GALACTIC NUCLEUS FEEDBACK [PDF]
We present results from new Chandra, GMRT, and SOAR observations of NGC 5813, the dominant central galaxy in a nearby galaxy group. The system shows three pairs of collinear cavities at 1 kpc, 8 kpc, and 20 kpc from the central source, from three ...

A review of multiscale numerical modeling of rock mechanics and rock engineering
Multiscale numerical methods of rock mechanics and rock engineering are reviewed, and the review results show that more attention should be paid to the development of an advanced constitutive model in addition to numerical techniques themselves. Abstract Rock is geometrically and mechanically multiscale in nature, and the traditional phenomenological ...
