Galaxies Including Globular Clusters and Local Group
1975According to Baade (1944) the stellar population in the central bulge of M31 resolves at the same magnitude level as do the globular clusters associated with that galaxy. This observation led Baade to conclude that the nuclear bulge of the Andromeda Nebula consists of globular cluster-like stars.
