The universal galaxy rotation curve
From the analysis of an extended set of selected galaxy rotation curves, it is found that for a given luminosity the rotation curves of spiral galaxies within the optical radius are a universal function. This result implies strong systematic variations of both the amplitude and the profil of the circular velocity with luminosity faint (bright) galaxies

We investigate the resolved kinematics of the molecular gas, as traced by the Atacama Large Millimeter/submillimeter Array in CO (2−1), of 25 cluster member galaxies across three different clusters at a redshift of z ∼ 1.6.

It is an unsolved mystery that the rotation velocity of a galactic disc is same at any radial distances. The presence of dark matter is expected, but not observed.

Halpha Kinematics of S4G Spiral Galaxies - III. Inner rotation curves [PDF]
We present a detailed study of the shape of the innermost part of the rotation curves of a sample of 29 nearby spiral galaxies, based on high angular and spectral resolution kinematic Halpha Fabry-Perot observations.

The Nearly Universal Disk Galaxy Rotation Curve
The universal rotation curve (URC) of disk galaxies was originally proposed to predict the shape and amplitude of any rotation curve (RC) based solely on photometric data.

Mass Models of the Milky Way and Estimation of Its Mass from the Gaia DR3 Data Set
We use data from the Gaia DR3 data set to estimate the mass of the Milky Way (MW) by analyzing the rotation curve in the range of distances 5 to 28 kpc. We consider three mass models: The first model adds a spherical dark matter (DM) halo, following the ...

This article introduces a soft wearable eyelid sling device incorporating a hydraulic soft artificial muscle (SAM) for achieving complete closure of an eyelid. The SAM is driven by a cam mechanism that provides a displacement profile closely matched with those of a healthy eyelid.

Large-Scale Asymmetry of Rotation Curves in Lopsided Spiral Galaxies [PDF]
Many spiral galaxies show a large-scale asymmetry with a cos\phi dependence in their rotation curves as well as in their morphology, such as M101 and NGC 628.

Long‐Term Elevated CO2 Improves Soil Health and Rice Yields in Paddy Fields
Combining the two longest‐running rice free‐air CO2 enrichment experiments with a global data synthesis, this study demonstrates that long‐term elevated CO2 consistently enhances soil health. In rice paddies, this improvement sustains the CO2 fertilization effect over decades.
