Deconstructing insect herbivore trivial movement in a monoculture and triculture: Limitations of emigration

open access: yesPopulation Ecology, Volume 65, Issue 3, Page 183-191, July 2023., 2023
Emigration was estimated to be faster from tricultures than monocultures during July, but during August, when maize plants were mature, emigration was estimated to be slower from tricultures than monocultures. The tall maize plants restricted herbivore movement, reducing emigration.
