Analysis of C4 Concentrations to Predict Impact of Patient‐Reported Diarrhea Associated With the Ileal Bile Acid Transporter Inhibitor Linerixibat

open access: yesCPT: Pharmacometrics &Systems Pharmacology, Volume 14, Issue 3, Page 596-605, March 2025.
ABSTRACT Linerixibat, an ileal bile acid transporter (IBAT) inhibitor, is being evaluated for the treatment of pruritus in primary biliary cholangitis (PBC). Diarrhea is commonly reported with this drug class as IBAT inhibition redirects bile acids (BA) to the colon.

The Influence of the Pretreatment of Tool Steel on the Running‐In Phase of Diamond‐Like Carbon Coatings

open access: yessteel research international, EarlyView.
The influence of tool steel pretreatment on the running‐in behavior of TiNb‐diamond‐like carbon (DLC) coatings is investigated. Ion etching promotes carbide protrusion and increases coating roughness, while post‐deposition polishing reduces surface asperities.

Molecular Evidence Points to Strong Resemblance in the Parasitoid Species of Rice and Cogongrass Gall Midges, Platygaster spp. (Hymenoptera: Platygasteridae)

open access: yesHayati Journal of Biosciences
The rice gall midge, Orseolia oryzae, and the cogongrass gall midge, O. javanica, cause gall formation on rice and cogongrass (alang-alang) (Imperata cylindrica).  Two different species parasitize these two gall midges but closely related platygasterids,
