Sulfonamide antibiotics contaminate peat soils where they are sorbed to functional groups in a pH‐dependent manner that can be successfully described by QSAR. ABSTRACT Background Sulfonamide antibiotics have been discovered as emerging pharmaceutical pollutants worldwide and are only poorly removed in wastewater treatment.
