We report a demonstration of single-crystal gallium oxide (Ga2O3) metal-semiconductor field-effect transistors (MESFETs). A Sn-doped Ga2O3 layer was grown on a semi-insulating β-Ga2O3 (010) substrate by molecular-beam epitaxy.

Germanium and Gallium in Sea-Water: Gallium
Nature, 1958LITTLE is kaown of the occurrence of gallium in sea-water. Its presence was first detected by del Campo and Rodeja1. Bardet et al. 2 found it spectrographically, together with thirteen other trace elements, in water samples taken near Roscoff (Brittany). The only quantitative data so far published are due to Noddack and Noddack3, who found 0.5 µgm.

OBJECTIVE: To evaluate the therapeutic role of gallium nitrate in the treatment of hypercalcemia associated with malignancy and related disease states. DATA SOURCES: A literature search of English-language studies involving gallium nitrate for the period 1966–1991 using MEDLINE and the bibliographies of relevant articles.

Passivating gallium arsenide surface by gallium chalcogenide [PDF]
We have studied the protective properties of thin films of gallium selenide formed by the method of heterovalent substitution on the surface of GaAs substrates. The data of transmission (Hitachi H-800) and scanning (JEOL JSM-638 OLV) electron microscopy showed that GaAs substrates treated with selenium vapor produced a more pronounced orienting action ...

AbstractDespite the eminent importance of metal alkylidene species for organic synthesis and industrial catalytic processes, molecular homoleptic metal methylene compounds [M(CH2)n] as the simplest representatives, have remained elusive. Reports on this topic date back to 1955 when polymeric [Li2(CH2)]n and [Mg(CH2)]n were accessed by pyrolysis of ...
